We started renting a trailer spot at Big Bend for the summer. We now use the rentals there on the property. There is not a bad thing I could say about this place. Lisa and her husband Richard are what we call true lifesavers! When we were vacationing for our anniversary and the water pump in our truck went out I took a chance in stopping by the office to see if there was some miraculous chance they knew anyone with mechanical knowledge. That same evening our truck was fixed! I truly believe that if you are looking for a wonderful place with absolutely amazing people this is the place! I am proud to be a part of the Big Bend family!!!!! See you guys soon!

Our new winter place so that we can miss the Canadian winter. We stayed in the new area (50AMP) due to our RV size (45 feet) which while a premium rate the space between sites is about 3 times the size of the older area (30AMP) of the park. Pool and hot tub available, with hot tub heated but pool is not. Laundry room and a clubhouse. Daily planned events from pickleball, line dance lessons to planned hikes as well as pool, poker and other card nights. No web site but hosts are very informative. We have extended this stay from 30 days to 75 days. Lake side bar open thurs-sun for drinks and food which is good. Older crowd in the winter months while younger crowd in the blistering hot months. Right across the road from the desert which is a UTv and Motorbike dream! One important thing to note, make sure you navigate through Parker, Arizona crossing the bridge and not the Parker Dam route if you have an RV, Trailer or oversized vehicle (over 9 tonnes) as Parker Dam does not allow crossing with those vehicles so only passenger vehicles, (no exceptions as guards at both sides). Also note that Parker Dam closed from 11pm to 6am. As well, caution to the Burro’s (aka donkey’s) who frequently crossing the road and walk along the shoulders. Drive under the 55 mph speed limit and yes the burro’s love an apple or two! Also caution over coyotes in the area as they will go after small pets. Incredible sunsets and amazing star filled skies. #WAndre #PrevostGuy #PrevostPups
